Only 1964 copies of the 2015 Mustang 50th Anniversary Edition were manufactured, and comes standard with nearly every available option. The only choice customers have to make is either Wimbleton White or Kona Blue, and the manual or automatic transmission. After some research, we discovered many of the Limited Edition ponies will be snatched up internally by the Ford Motor Company brass and dealership personnel. There is also a military/european allotment of 264 that are being shipped overseas. Although the math is hard to track down, it may be safe to say around 1000 of the 50th Anniversary Limited Edition Mustangs will be available to the general public.
This Kona Blue Mustang is stunning. The image of a Mustang projected to the ground from each side mirror is really cool! Its a true muscle car that is begging to be driven, but unfortunately, mine will stay in my garage for now. However, I've been advised to drive a few miles periodically to ensure everything stays in proper condition.
So far, I've driven the vehicle twice. The trip home from the dealership, and a single round trip from Clearwater to Tarpon Springs, Florida. So the mileage is around 150 at this time. The Vehicle Identification Number is: 1FA6P8RF1F5501492, and the Badge number is 1492 of 1964.
Not long after we purchased the automobile, I found my position at work was becoming part-time. This change in finances, at my age, has ruined plans to enjoy my Mustang in the years ahead.
